Advancing Health Outcomes with Culturally-adapted Mobile Technology
Mobile Health Care Innovation
The AHOMKA program will involve several layers of innovation that build on existing, evidence-based chronic disease management tools to adapt and assess a mobile technology platform to guide hypertension management.
Mobile Health Capacity Building
The AHOMKA Mobile Health Network is focused on capacity building for mobile health (mHealth) research in Ghana to advance hypertension health outcomes. The capacity building initiatives will have a long-term impact on mHealth research, interventions, assessment strategies, and policies in Ghana and the entire West African region.
Our US-Ghana partnership includes cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, biostatisticians, electrical and computer engineers, and public health scientists across multiple academic institutions, hospitals, private industry, and government entities.
Artificial Intelligence in Global Health
The expansion of telecommunications network infrastructure coupled with mHealth tools and AI technology has potential to drive game-changing solutions to global health care delivery.
